Readmission to the Schulich School of Music
Students in Satisfactory Standing, who have not been registered in the Schulich School of Music for one or two terms, may return to the program in which they were previously registered upon permission of the School. Those who have been out for longer than two consecutive terms may be readmitted upon permission of the School, subject to the student's previous record and current School's limitations on enrolment.
Students seeking program readmission must submit a request in writing to the Music's Student Affairs Office, giving a summary of their activities during their absence. The deadlines to submit these requests are posted on the Schulich School of Music website atmcgill.ca/music/resources/undergraduate/academic-resources/program-transfer-and-readmission.
Re-auditioning
Re-auditioning
Students who have not completed their required practical examinations will be required to re-audition. Students who have completed their required practical examinations and are returning to fulfil academic courses are not required to re-audition. Students who are uncertain about the re-audition regulations should contact the Music Student Affairs Office at studentaffairs.music [at] mcgill.ca.
