10 Year Anniversary

Celebrating ten years of Â鶹Çø's medical simulation centre

On September 14, 2006, Â鶹Çø’s Medical Simulation Centre – the first of its kind in Canada – opened its doors. Using fake patients in very real situations, the Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning (renamed as such in October 2015) has helped thousands of health sciences learners over the past decade test their mettle in a setting where they can ‘do no harm.’


Life on (a simulated) Mars

Matt Damon isn't the only one simulating what it's like to live on Mars. Kim Binsted, BSc’91, leads a NASA-funded research project in Hawaii that is looking at how to prepare crews for long-duration space missions.
