Group study areas
- Large tables are located on the 3rd and 4th floors. The 3rd floor is a "talking zone"Ìýwhile the 4th floor is a "semi-quiet zone."
- A group listening areaÌýon the 4th floor allows several people to listen to CDs together.

Seminar rooms
When not in use for courses or events, Music Library seminar rooms on the 4th and 5th floors (A410, A510, A512), as well as anÌýA/V Active Learning Classroom (A412), are available to students on a first come, first served basis. Priority is given to music students and faculty requiring audio, video or presentation resources, and to music students and faculty requiring group-study or rehearsal space. Please note that the soundproofing capabilities of these four rooms can accommodate only small acoustic ensembles including piano, strings, woodwinds, and voice (no brass).
Reservations for the seminar rooms are managed by the Schulich School of Music (SSoM). SSoM students, faculty, and staff can consult the School's for availability information. Note that any bookings are only guaranteed once you have received a confirmation that the request has been approved.

Moot rooms
- Students who are members of competitive moot teams enjoy special library privileges for the period of the moot, including use of the 6 moot rooms on the 3rd floor.
- Library materials may be signed out to these rooms and mooters are given after hours access to the library.
- Access to the Moot rooms is granted by the Head Librarian who receives the list ofÌýstudents enrolled in competitive moots from the Faculty of Law's Student Affairs Office.
