Students who meet certain criteria may be eligible for an exemption from 麻豆区's International Health Insurance plan. The list of exemption categories can be found under Eligibility for Exemption. Please note听that students covered by private health insurance are not exempt from the 麻豆区 plan.
Exemption requests must be done on Minerva by specified deadlines.
To request an exemption, please access Minerva 鈬� Student鈬� International Health Insurance Coverage Form=>Confirm IHI coverage听and select听Request an exemption听from the default coverage from the drop-down list. Next, please select the exemption category that applies to your situation. Please do not select "Termination of Insurance", "Reassessment" or "Not exempt".
Please your supporting document(s) to support your exemption in the following听formats: tagged image format (.tif, .tiff for scanned images) or听standard PDF (.pdf) -听encrypted PDFs are not accepted.
Exemptions are valid for one academic year only and must be renewed each subsequent year.
