Next to regular and enhanced classrooms, FMT students enjoy the use of state-of-the-art teaching facilities: Some classes take place in the computer lab, the Introduction to Plant Science course makes regular use of the science lab, The Science of Food course has the students prepare food in the lab kitchens, and the Machinery Maintenance course holds its labs in the machinery workshop, where students learn welding, torch cutting and building tools.

Another facility used by FMT students in the Greenhouse Crop Production, Introduction to Plant Science and Vegetable and Fruit Crops courses is our computerized research greenhouse. A larger new state-of-the-art greenhouse is currently being built and is projected to be ready within the 2024-25 academic year.
