Professor Leslie Breitner is the Academic Director of the International Masters for Health Leadership (IMHL), a master’s degree program for managers and clinicians in the health sector, and the Academic Co-Director of the Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management (GCHM), a joint program with Â鶹Çø’s Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Desautels Faculty of Management.

Leslie joined the Desautels Faculty of Management at Â鶹Çø in 2010 from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington, USA. During her academic career she has taught financial and performance management in the health and non-profit contexts. She also taught public sector financial management at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government for a number of years.

Adrian Dancea

Pediatric Cardiologist

Dr. Adrian Dancea is a pediatric interventional cardiologist. He has been the Director of the Heart Catherization Laboratory at the Montreal Children’s Hospital for over 20 years and since 2009, the Head of the Division of Cardiology at the same institution.

He maintains a busy clinical and academic practice and has made over the years significant clinical research contributions in various areas of pediatric cardiology.

He is the current Associate Chair of Finance, Department of Pediatrics and has been on the Executive of the Association des cardiologues du Québec since 2014.

Andrea D’Addario is a Psychologist by trade who has worked and lived in the Northwest Territories for the past 14 years serving as a Mental Health service provider and territorial health administrator. Working for the Northwest Territories Health and Social Services Authority (NTHSSA), Andrea's newly appointed role as Organizational Development & Leadership Consultant supports quality improvement and innovation in the areas of health leadership development, training and system transformation. Andrea is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders and is a passionate champion of the LEADS in a Caring Environment Leadership Framework.

Marty Koyle

Dr. Marty Koyle

Professor Emeritus of Surgery

Dr. Marty Koyle is Professor Emeritus of Surgery at the University of Toronto, where he held the Women’s Auxiliary Endowed Chair in Pediatric Urology and Regenerative Medicine, while serving as division head of Pediatric Urology at the Hospital for Sick Children.

He holds an MSc in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (QIPS) from the Institute of Health Policy Management and Evaluation (IHPME) at the University of Toronto, a Master’s in Management (MMgmt) from Desautels Faculty of Management at Â鶹Çø, and an MBA (cert) from Tulane University Freeman School of Business.

Dr. Khalid Aziz

Professor of Pediatrics

Dr. Khalid Aziz is Professor of Pediatrics in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry and Medical Director (Quality Improvement) in the Office of Lifelong Learning at University of Alberta, Edmonton Alberta. He is also a staff neonatologist in the Edmonton Neonatal Program and Stollery Children’s Hospital, Edmonton since 2007.

Sujata Madan

SujataÌýis a Professor of Practice at the Desautels Faculty of Management of Â鶹Çø where she also currently serves as the Co-Academic Director of the International Masters Program for Managers (IMPM). Sujata teaches courses to Undergraduate, MBA, EMBA, IMHL, GCHM and Executive Education participants.

Sujata holds several teaching awards, including the University-wide Principal's Prize for Excellence in Teaching for 2011 and was awarded the Desautels Faculty of Management Distinguished Teaching Award at the graduate level in 2016, 2015, 2014, 2012, and 2008.

Tanya Di Genova

Dr. Tanya Di Genova, MDCM, FRCPC, MBA

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics

Dr. Tanya Di Genova MDCM, FRCPC, MBA, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and a member of the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine of the Montreal Children Hospital. She completed her training as a Pediatric Critical Care Physician at the Montreal Children’s Hospital and Toronto Sick Kids. She has been working in the Pediatric Critical Care Unit at the Montreal Children’s Hospital since 2017.

Jean-Nicolas Reyt

Jean-Nicolas Reyt is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behaviour at Â鶹Çø in the Desautels Faculty of Management. He received a PhD in Management from Paris-Dauphine University. Prior to joining Desautels, he was a visiting scholar at New York University.

Professor Reyt's research focuses on the future of work, and interpersonal conflicts in the workplace. His research was published in top management journals, such as the Academy of Management Journal, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, the Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior, and the Journal of Occupational Health Psychology.

Roman Galperin

Roman Galperin

Associate Professor, Organizational Behaviour

Roman Galperin is an Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior. He studies how signals and perceptions of competence and expertise influence markets for professional services, facilitate knowledge exchange and learning in organizations, and shape careers of knowledge workers. He earned his PhD in management at MIT Sloan School of Management and have previously taught at Carey Business School, Johns Hopkins University, where he received a Discovery Award for joint work with the Dept. of Neuroscience studying efficient expert search in the context of patent examination.

Ahmad Firas KhalidDr. Ahmad Firas Khalid

Ahmad Firas Khalid is a medical doctor, assistant professor in global health at York University, a health policy and system researcher and lecturer, and a knowledge translation professional. Firas completed his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine and his PhD in Health Policy at McMaster University. He also graduated with a Master of Management degree from Â鶹Çø’s International Masters for Health Leadership.

Maxime CohenMaxime Cohen

AI for Healthcare
Professor of Retail and Operations Management

Maxime Cohen is the Scale AI Chair Professor of Retail and Operations Management and Director of Research at Â鶹Çø. He is also a Visiting Professor of Operations Management and a Shubik Fellow at Yale School of Management (2023-2024).

He is the Chief AI Officer of ELNA Medical and the Scientific Director of the non-profit MyOpenCourt.org. He is also a Scientific Advisor in AI at IVADO Labs, and is actively advising corporations, retailers, and startups on topics related to pricing, retail, and data science.
