Oriane Simion is a clinical psychologist trained in psychotraumatology and in CBT. She obtained a joint PhD in Social work (Â鶹Çø) and in Psychology (Lille University) in 2022.
During her PhD, she worked under the co-supervision of Pr. Delphine Collin-Vézina and Pr. Stéphane Rusinek with the aim to provide scientific knowledge to better understand and assess Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) through the validation of specific psychometric scales (ITQ & SIDES-SR), the evaluation of the etiological and symptomatological characteristics of CPTSD and the exploration of the dissociative and related emotional regulation symptomatological specificities using different methodologies (questionnaires, physiological response...). This work received three awards in 2023 with the IRCCADE Award for Research in Psychopathology, the France-Quebec Cotutelle Thesis Award (Consulate General of France in Quebec, Quebec Ministry of International Relations and Francophonie), and the Young Researcher Contest’s Excellence Award of the 51th CBT annual congress (AFTCC).
