Program Requirements
The Graduate Diploma in Registered Dietitian Credentialing is open to students with a Ph.D. in Human Nutrition from the School of Human Nutrition who would like to become a member of the Ordre professional des di茅t茅tistes du Qu茅bec (OPDQ). The Diploma consists of 30 weeks of stage placements in Clinical, Community, and Management rotations. Before acceptance into the program, students will be required to complete courses in clinical nutrition, and certain required courses in preparation for Stage; and to demonstrate a basic level of French competency. This preparation may be done during the Ph.D. program, or in a qualifying year after the Ph.D. On completion, students will meet OPDQ credits and professional practice requirements for licensure as a registered dietitian.
The Graduate Diploma is open to students who have completed a graduate degree with the School of Human Nutrition including NUTR 603 Credentialing in Dietetics.

Overview
Nutrition and Dietetics : Assessment, planning, implementation, communication and evaluation in management of Food and Nutrition Systems. Focus is on application of management theory in dietetic practice.

NUTR 613 Graduate Professional Practice 3 Clinical Nutrition (7 credits)
Overview
Nutrition and Dietetics : Initial rotation(s) in clinical nutrition. Assessment, planning, implementation, communication and evaluation of clinical nutrition care. Focus is on application of medical nutritional therapy for individuals and groups with a variety of disease states.

Overview
Nutrition and Dietetics : Assessment, planning, implementation, communication, and evaluation of public health and community nutrition programs for a variety of individuals and population groups. Focus is on intervention strategies and their evaluation.
