Program Requirements
Le certificat en leadership p茅dagogique pour les Premi猫res nations et les Inuits (30 unit茅s) comporte cinq (5) objectifs principaux : (1) l'acquisition des comp茅tences de base que doivent poss茅der les leaders dans le domaine de l'茅ducation, (2) la promotion de l'autor茅flexion permettant aux leaders de faire 茅quipe avec les parents pour cr茅er une approche communautaire, (3) la prise de conscience de l'apprentissage holistique, des cycles de d茅veloppement de l'enfant et du r么le des leaders enseignants dans le renforcement de ce d茅veloppement, (4) le maintien de l'interconnexion et de la continuit茅 des valeurs et des aspirations communautaires et culturelles au sein de la structure administrative de l'茅cole et des autres milieux 茅ducatifs et (5) la connaissance et le soutien des objectifs p茅dagogiques et du cadre administratif du contexte et du syst猫me 茅ducatifs.

Course work based on academic and professional communication in education, with a particular focus on classroom communication.

Programmes d鈥櫭﹖udes et formation : A problem-solving approach (needs assessment, projections, creative solutions, and proposals) will establish a procedure for proactive management of the First Nations and Inuit educational environment (human, financial, and physical resources). Topics include staffing, finance, budgeting, payroll, interviewing techniques, health and safety management, and building and equipment maintenance.
