Work Well Â鶹Çø Program

Work Well in Your Space

The Work Well Â鶹Çø program provides workplace disability prevention services to the Â鶹Çø community. The services are delivered by occupational therapy students in the Master’s Program, under the close supervision of licensed occupational therapists. The service is available four periods a year (January-February, April-May, June-July, September-October).

Workplace disability prevention services:Ìý

  1. Workshops and Seminars: A wide range of virtual or in-person workshops on topics such as ergonomic workstation set-up, visual fatigue, incorporating movement at the office, stress management.Ìý
  2. Creation of Educational and Training Materials:ÌýWe can create custom materials to meet your team’s needs. For example, creation of videos, handouts, or manuals related to a variety of topics (e.g., body mechanics, stress management, ergonomics)Ìý
  3. Ergonomic Assessments: Workplace assessments to identify and address potential ergonomic risks and promote safe and healthy work environments. We also offer virtual ergonomic assessments of home workstations.ÌýÌý
  4. Work Disability Prevention Assessment and Intervention: A comprehensive and collaborative department-wide assessment identifies risk factors that can impact physical and psychosocial health of employees. The risk factors and recommendations are outlined in a detailed report and presented to department leaders.ÌýÌý
