SIS MISt student awarded the Computational Research Fellowship

The inaugural winner of the fellowship, Rajat Bhateja is a second-year Masters of Information Studies student in the School of Information Studies, Faculty of Arts. He will present his in progress research project “Semantic, Context Analysis and Visualization of 鶹 theses data using word2vec” in which he used the full-text and metadata of over 40,000 theses in the鶹 eScholarship collection“to find the current and past literary meanings of concepts allowing researchers and students of 鶹 to observe and describe changing social conventions”.
