The Schulich School of Music is delighted to welcome Lindsay Roberts and Anna Petersen to our Department of Performance as oboe course instructors! These talented musicians have performed in orchestras across Quebec, Canada, and the world. We are honoured that they will share their incredible talents and expertise with our students!

“I am most looking forward to meeting and working with students who have the drive, ambition and love for music I had as a student walking through the same halls those many years ago,” said Lindsay, who completed her master’s degree at Schulich in orchestral studies (MMus ’09).

Lindsay is now very active on the Quebec scene. She holds the Principal oboe position with Orchestre Symphonique de Sherbrooke as well as Second oboe English Horn positions with Orchestre symphonique de Laval, Orchestre symphonique de Drummondville and Orchestre symphonique du Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.

Anna is also a prolific oboist. She joined the National Arts Centre Orchestra as Second Oboe and English Horn in 2013. She has also performed orchestral and chamber concerts throughout Canada and the United States, as well as internationally in China, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and Europe. In addition to her orchestra career, Anna is also an active soloist and chamber musician.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the faculty of the Schulich School of Music in January,” said Anna. “The opportunity to teach in such an incredible environment is a dream come true, and I’m honoured and excited to work with the wonderful students and faculty at 鶹.”
