Comparative Law (Grad. Cert.)

Program Description

The Graduate Certificate (Gr. Cert.) in Comparative Law offered by the Institute of Comparative Law in the Faculty of Law is a course-based program that emphasizes rigorous and tailored learning opportunities. Our comprehensive and innovative program offers a specialized and practical curriculum designed to equip students with advanced skills in Comparative Law.

Unique Program Features

  • The program offers advanced training, particularly appropriate for jurists who wish to pursue graduate-level studies in areas such as civil, commercial, or human rights law;
  • The degree is awarded after one full-time term of residence in the Faculty and upon the completion of 15 course credits;
  • The program is structured to meet the individual needs of students and must be approved by the Associate Dean (Graduate Programs);
  • As a course-based program, no thesis or research project is required.

University-Level Admission Requirements

  • An eligible Bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA out of a possible 4.0 GPA
  • English-language proficiency
